Why such a message?
I am a camper, both in tent and campervan. I always respect the local people, never park where I shouldn’t, never leave litter or discharge waste in inappropriate places. I think that the sign is abrupt, unwelcoming and insulting. The majority of campers are not dirty. I’ve just been in Shetland for
five weeks and was welcome everywhere. The only litter around was on the shore, left by fishermen, bits of plastic rope, net bits etc.
